Taking Off Crested Caracara
While at Vera Wetlands I watched this Crested Caracara sitting on top of a pine tree waiting for it to take off. It finally flew and I was able to capture this image that shows both the upper and lower sides of its wings.

Nice shot. I have two that have teasing me, flying by my window. So far all I've been able to get is tail feathers! :(
