Thinking Sharp-shinned - AND I am wrong. Cooper's Hawk (Accipiter cooperii)

I'm pretty sure this is a juvenile Sharp-shinned Hawk. He has been hanging around the yard looking for doves and quail. On this day he decided to hang around for a few minutes.
So, placed in ID forum. He's a Cooper's, of course. I can't seem to get these two correct!

I have too much trouble with these guys to make an accurate call. I will say the legs look too thick to be a Sharpie but again, what do I know.

That said, this is one awesome closeup Lisa.

Don't have enough know how to make a call on the ID. But it was nice of it to hang around so you could get this great photo of it. Nicely done!

Not a clue on the ID Lisa ;)

.... but what a cracking picture this is. You've lots of plumage detail there - I'm sure someone can nail it for you.

Nice raptor capture Lisa...Why not put it in the ID Forum, and let our very knowledgeable guys n' gals take a look, I'm sure they will nail it for you.
