Hey Penny - what an excellent pictorial report, I really enjoyed reading it and looking at each of the photographs, thanks so much for posting this. I only wish I was able to have got up to the Birdfair, I must make a date in the diary for next year as it looks to have been a fantastic weekend.

Have to say as well though, with all the SK admiration and drooling that is going on in this tread, that the very beautiful lady with SK in post #4 is a bit of a looker too - if you don't mind my saying so ;):-O

Well I couldn't go to the fair, but I've enjoyed reading the report and looking at the pics and getting the atmosphere, many thanks Penny.

Just wish both Ian and myself had been feeling better ....Ian with his arthritis and I have just been on some antibiotics which seem to have made me more jiggered than I was in the first place... I even had the time off from work organised as well :-( Hopefully next year we will turn up.... we are trying to talk Dr Manjeet to come over ..now that would be a star turn, probably attracting a bigger crowd than the rest of the celebs.

How about putting some of the pictures in the gallery of Mr & Mrs King etc.

Hi Penny

Super pics and reporting :t:. Made me feel as if I was there (maybe next year). With your style of reporting which is very relaxed and readable, have you considered writing a book? I for one would be at the signing (so long as it involved a pic and a kiss as well :t: 8-P :t:). Looking forward to more.

Dr Mangeet I agree would draw a massive crowd, expecially, can you imagine if he did 'An audience with' ..... in the Events Marquee and told one of his long, hilarious stories:-O:-O:-O

Will put some pictures in the gallery this evening. Have a day's holiday today but going for 40 winks soon as have spent a LONG time doing this report!!!
Best Wishes Penny:girl:

Many thanks for your involuntary endorsement of Africa Birds and Birding. It's a brilliant publication, and anybody contemplating a Southern African trip would do well to try and get hold of some.
I take it that you watched Mr King doing his 'Springwatch' thing in beautiful Scottish sunshine, while poor Bill and Kate got rained on in Norfolk?

Best wishes,
Dave Kennedy
