Update from Flashes. 5.30 start.. My first cuckoo of year by Hen pool. Otherwise as yesterday. 2 blackwits..only the brood of 4 lapwing in meadow remain...all other young shelduck and avos ok. The single chick has moved to the spit in front of hide... Cool SW wind...
John - can you just confirm the position with opening times for the Sailing Centre car park currently. I note that the travellers are back, in a field adjacent to Junction 5. Plenty of green open space at the chateau they could park up in 3
As far as I am aware Phil the Cafe opens at 10am.

30 Avocets (23 young), 2 Black-tailed Godwits, 2 Med Gulls (2s and 1s), 8 Shelduck young and 2 Lapwing broods (4:1).
