Having no luck with the ''minor'' type noctuid image 1. also image 2. need confirmation that it is a Mallow? and am confused by the wing pattern on image 3. to my eye looking like a cross between Black Arches/Gypsy Moth?

Cheers

Second looks like it could be within the variation of Yellow Shell.

Cheers, I did wonder about that possibility, but thought that ssp atlantica might be a bit of a stretch, however if Yellow Shell is that variable over it’s range that would be a good shout. :t:

Thanks Guys, the suggestion that image 1.might be a worn/variant of TLB would kinda make sense, as over the last few weeks I’ve regularly trapped c5 on each “trap night”.

Cheers

4? There's only 3 photos! Think you meant 3 which I did say was Gypsy so agree.
Yes I meant 3, I sometimes think my fingers aren't connected to my brain when I'm using a keyboard. I should have checked before posting as I didn't notice you had already confirmed Gypsy Moth either. Blame it on my age and the fact that I was tired!
