Genus: Wilsonia

Description

A former genus of New World Warblers. Named for Alexander Wilson, one of the great early American ornithologists.

Taxonomy

Wilsonia was a genus in the family Parulidae.
Canada Warbler and Wilson's Warbler are now placed in genus Cardellina, Hooded Warbler was moved to Setophaga.
