    I've not had a chance to view the webcam for a few days and I've just tuned in. What a size the chicks are now!! As Emma said in yesterday's blog, their Dad has been super-impressive looking after them and bringing in a constant supply of fish.

    Surprisingly, I saw the otter at about 4.30 yesterday, between the Centenary Hide and Chestnut Walk, on the far bank. I normally go to the reserve in the mornings (especially at weekends) to avoid the unsavouries that have a certain pastime in the hides. Thats good that you saw the Reed...

    I went on a walk round yesterday afternoon and was pleased with the amount of Whitethroats and the nesting Great Crested Grebes. I also saw my first wild otter on the Clyde, so was delighted!

    Its not sunny here, but quite warm. It looks quite cloudy on the webcam as well. Hopefully the sun will break through later on at some point! Lady seems to be surveying the weather too!!

    Dogs aren't allowed into the centre or on the short walks to the hides, but a place is provided to tie your dogs' leads to the side if the centre. There is also an alternative walk provided for dog walkers, away from the centre.

    Thanks for the updates. I can't view the cam at work, but can read this forum on my phone. She's probs still weak...she's had a long wait for brekkie today. Hopefully with some food in her, she'll perk up. The sun must be strong, so she'll need to rehydrate a lot.

    I quit for a while, but couldn't resist coming back. I presume thats the female still on the nest feeding the chicks? Well I didn't sleep last night with worry, and now tonight I'm so happy that I don't think I'll sleep either!
