Shannon Estuary, Ireland (June) - common whimbrel?

I'm still not sure whether I'm interpreting body proportions and bill size correctly. Photos: Bonus question: are these bar-tailed godwits?
  2. ParisNorway

Cliffs of Moher (Ireland) - red-billed choughs?

I'm not familiar with the species, but I think you can (barely) make out their red features in the images? They also behaved as description said - acrobatic flight, with squeaky calls somewhat similar to jackdaws.
  3. ParisNorway

Cliffs of Moher (Ireland) - razorbills or guillemots/murres?

I'm leaning towards group A being common guillemots, group B being razorbills. Photo of group A: Photo of group B: Bonus question, is this bird recognizable as great black-backed gull?
  4. ParisNorway

Ballykelly Marsh, Northern Ireland (June) - Black-tailed godwit?

One Black-tailed godwit? Two Black-tailed godwits? Zero Black-tailed godwits? :) Photo:

I'm somewhat new to recognizing pipits, so go easy on me :) The bulkier bill and darker reddish legs are suggestions towards rock pipit in my opinion. Two photos:

  14. What kind of gull is this?

What kind of gull is this?

Spotted this in Dunmore East on the south coast if Ireland. Certainly doesn't look like an immature Herring/GBBG to me. Is it maybe an Iceland or Glaucous gull? Both of these species have been known to winter in Ireland. Any help ID'ing this would be great. Thanks a lot, C
