    I think this is a rat snake! I looked up from cutting grass and this little beauty was stretched out on a limb not a foot from my face! I do not know why snakes get such a hard time from people! This little fellow showed perfect manners while I snapped a few pics and released him into the woods! =)

    Went to find the godwit reported yesterday with no luck but came across this crawling herp. Its ID is welcome. Thought it\'s a Northern Water Snake.
