Advice please, Converter-autofocus? (1 Viewer)

Hi,
Would using a 1.4x apo teleconverter affect the autofocus on a Sigma 120-400mm os hsm lens attached to a canon eos 550d DSLR?

Thanks in advance for any and all replies,

Mick.

With the vast majority of TC's and Canon bodies you will lose AF once the aperture is above f5.6 (Except on Canon Series 1 models)

So if your lens is f5.6 which I suspect it is once the TC is added it will become f8 and AF will be lost on your 550D

Will work if you use the Kenko 1.4x DGX (either the MC4 or the PRO 300) if there is adequate light (on mine it works on 90% of the cases)
