Arrived Leica Trinovid 8x32HD first impressions (2 Viewers)

Ok.... you're in Cannock...
Go to The Birders' Store, St.Johns, Worcester, it's an hours drive for you.
It's a small shop but a great stock.
Closed Mondays, and probably worth a call first.
They definately sell all the big brands, and I've used them several times, Leica, swaro, Zeiss, Vortex etc.... great shop, knowledgeable staff.
Zeiss 8x32 Conquests worth a look, but another pair of 8x32 Trinovids may just be perfect.
But rest assured, if your eyes are not relaxed, or change when you take the binos away, then they are optically 'out'.
For what it's worth, my Swaro CL8x25's went back, they were a smidge out, and also my FL8x56's also needed fine adjustment.
When I tested some Vortex in the now closed 'Focus Optics' they were also 'out', although the salesman said they were perfect. 5 mins later after some check, he agreed they were indeed 'out'.
In all 3 cases I was able to see it, others couldn't.... So this can also be personal to the user. I am very susceptible to it, some less so.
You can be assured of leaving with a perfect pair, tested on site before you hand the cash over.

Top tip. Never mention Rugby, agree Warren Gatland is a plonker and speak with much spittle. Certain to be let through.

Been to south Wales and found it quite agreeable. The language is a disaster. I wonder whether the UK army uses Welshmen like the Americans used the 'windtalkers'. Used to have family in Cardiff. Or ist that sort of thing better not mentioned? (My wife eg. cannot admit to being Viennese here - everybody as a matter of principle hates the big-headed twats from the capital, no matter how nice they actually are)

No, the Navajo’s were quite superb during WW2 so there was a trial using Welshmen but the microphones clogged up with spittle and it was quietly dropped.
No, it’s only foreigners like me that know of, and can pronounce, Llanfair…………Ask any local what is the most famous Welsh railway station and Swansea Central will be the top answer.
There is an Ultravid 8x42 in the classifieds by O.Reville1989....
At £700 they will blow anything up to the '£1000new' out of the water.
And they won't lose a penny.
I'd be all over these like a tramp on chips at that price.... if the condition is as described.

I suspect the belief that Mr Gatland is a plonker is held in all the home nations, not just Wales!

I do believe that you may be right. Much merriment around the sacred Isles after the visit to Rome, and the village pub was deadly silent as the big screen showed every detail of the Italian drubbing. In glorious technicolour and Dolby sound.
