hello Birders,
Thanks to steve & Kev, for the Info,
The Dowitcher Flew off at Approx 10,o clock towards the Estuary, with a small flock of Laps,
We spent time at the Farm Gate, no Laps, no Dowitcher,
We had a Chat with a fellow birder, he informed us of a American Robin at Exeminster Marshes, also it was the first record for the Mainland,
All other Sightings have been on Lundy,
We are surprised with this report,
Heres one that was in devon in 2003,
We keep all Interesting pics, and Information.
In a way it looks like a, Redwing do you all Agree,
happy Birding

Thanks Sue and Simon, it is reading your entries here that made us decide to visit Seaton on Saturday.

We spent a few hours in the first hide accessed from Seaton Tramway and while there was nothing to excite the locals, it made a nice change from Worcestershire.

We noticed many people along the river on Sunday but went to Budleigh Salterton instead for a walk down the Otter and to see the two Glossy Ibis.

All in all, the excellent facilities and locations and the great beer in the Harbour Inn has made us want to return in the Spring.

Thanks again

Ron & Karen
