Best bird fountain & basins for NE US (basins, fountains, solar & electric pumps)? (1 Viewer)

Appreciate recommendations for bird-friendly basins and fountain. For basins I believe it's recommended that the water depth be no more than 2 in., that the slops gradually slope down to the deeper middle, and that the edges be smooth so that a bird can land on them. Also guessing that ceramic doesn't get as hot or cold as metal and plastic. There seem to be so many overpriced pedestal basins.

1) Open to pedestal basins, basins I can attach to a wood post, etc. and to faux rock fountains up to 1-3 ft high that sit on the ground and have water flow down to a reservoir which is then pumped back up to the top. It may be easier for us to go with a basin now and install a fountain next spring, so appreciate recommendations for both.
2) Appreciate recommendations for a quality solar pump that can create water movement in a basin. With water movement in winter, down to what temperature can the water keep from freezing?
3) Appreciate recommendations for a safe water heater for the coldest parts of winter.
