Free Photo Processing Software (1 Viewer)

Over the last seven to eight years I have found digikam (archiving and general photo editor [jpegs]) and DarkTable (RAW editor) to be very good. On Wintel/Mac ymmv.

Hey there! It's always exciting to discover new and free software options for photo processing. The DPReview article you mentioned sounds like a great resource for finding open-source alternatives to Lightroom.
It's important to note that some free software options may not be as feature-rich as paid software, but they can still be useful for basic editing tasks. And you can always use multiple software for different tasks, like using one for editing and one for image cleaner.
