Hello. This is my first post, I have just added three photos to the Gallery, i believe we have had a lesser redpoll visit us for the first time here in Staffordshire. We quite frequently have upto 8 Siskins and a couple of goldfinch’s but on Monday I believe it was a Lesser Redpoll that joined them.

Hi Geodan and a warm welcome from me too. I think you're right about it being a Lesser, how lovely for you. I'm really jealous of your Goldfinch, I rarely get them at my feeders. When I do, it's usually a young one in the Autumn. Siskins occasionally visit in the Winter and will hang around for a week or two.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.
