Yeah, I agree, I meant that you cannot exclude Goshawk looking at the pointed hand only, because Honey Buzzard can share this feature with Goshawk.
That may be, but fortunately it's irrelevant as you're extremely unlikely to just see the "pointed hand" of a BOP, without also seeing the rest of the wing, or even the rest of the bird, or getting an impression of size, shape and behaviour, or hearing the call, or flight action, or seasonality. 🙂👍
