For me there is only one program which I will miss, a little utility called Exif Extractor, [...] or learn how to use what appear to be either more complex or less functional Mac alternatives.

Indeed - I saw that thread when I was looking at alternatives, and think all the options discussed fall into either the 'more complex' (Exiftool) or 'less functional' categories! At some point I fear I'm going to have to get to grips with Exiftool (and Mac Terminal)...

could anyone tell me why is it that when i save shortcut to my desktop i also get a folder on my desktop as seen in photo?,this didn't happen when i used windows 7.
