It's hard to remember. But based on the video, I would estimate a distance of about 3 meters to the animal from the camera. Maybe that helps?

I don't know (if it's indeed an owl, it seems to have quite a small bill in those frames--maybe some smaller species), but I would be really interested in knowing what made those sounds, as well!

Neither Long-eared nor any other owl in Turkey has a call like this.

So can you then identify any owl or bird species from that region from my visual analysis?

And there is a good population of them in this region.

I couldn't see anything at all like a bird or other animal in any of the earlier photos, but in post #19 marked sequence A, the animal identified by the arrowed number 1, I finally did.

Some people have suggested reptiles or other. I'm going to vote for Naked Mole Rat.

(Excuse the facetious reply, no offence intended, just for fun. British viewers may be reminded of Private Eye's Lookalikes.)

Bump. After so many tries by members of this forum, is anyone capable to identify the bird (or mammal)?

Maybe my visual analysis could be helpful here.
