Is this a good deal on Nikon LX (HG) (1 Viewer)

I just found a new Nikon Venturer LX on clearance for 546 US dollars. This seems like an above average deal, but I am a pretty frugal guy. This is the older heavy one that is apparently being discontinued. Does this qualify as a "deal of a lifetime?"

Thats a good price. They are excellent optically if a little on the heavy side. They were around for even cheaper last year and I managed to get one at the site below at that price, unfortunately they are no longer available from them.
