January 2024 Moths (1 Viewer)

Considering the temp last night c4 degrees in NELondon albeit still, I was surprised to have 3 moths on the wall….Winter and presumed Spring Ushers.

My mate mentioned above has been trapping most nights but so far all he has added are a Chestnut and what he called a Varied Ochre.
 
4 moths around the wall Halogen last night, first since 13th- 2 Spring Ushers and 2 Pale Brindled Beauties.

Ran the UV last night- all on the wall none in the pot!- Spring Usher, Common Quaker and Small Brindled Beauty.👍
 
One moth in January - meant to post but forgot. But not very exciting (!) - White-shouldered House Moth Endrosis sarcitrella in the kitchen on the 8th Jan. Not seen one for ages prior.
