london wetland center (1 Viewer)

today the local patch tommrow the world
hi all
i went to the london wetland center today for the first time and had a craking day. its a great place to go for the day.
in total i had 47 birds and 1 fox.
birds are as follows and in order.
1. pied wagtale
2. tufted duck
3. grey heron
4. mallard
5. canada geese
6. morehen
7. coot
8. swallow
9. starling
10. bluetit
11. robin
12. muteswan
13. comorant
14. lapwing
15. shoevler (not sure how to spell it)
16. greylag geese
17. ruddy duck
18. wood pigeon
19. reed bunting
20. little grebe
21. black bird
22. lesser blacked back gull
23. magpie
24. redshank
25. teal
26. little ringed plover
27. dunlin
28. yellow wagtail
29. carrion crow
30. sandmartin
31. wren
32. gadwall
33. jack snipe (took me ages to spot this one)
34. great tit
35. chiff chaff
36. ring necked parakeet
37. green finch
38. chaffinch
39. green woodpecker
40. hering gull
41. great crested grebe
42. long tailed tit
43. kestrel
44. dunnock
45. black headed gull
46. wigeon
47.pochard

had a great time looking around the wildfowl area they have with all the ducks and geese from diffrent area of the globe.
and as an extra bonus i saw nick baker. the guy from some t.v progra,s and he has his owns books.
but like all good things had to go back home.

well all in all i would recomd this place to anybody.

the jack snipe was brilliant everyome in the hide could see it except me but i did in the end.
