Name a Bird You've Seen 2 (32 Viewers)

9107 Mottled Berryhunter another single island endemic (New Guinea)
I'm nearly played out but a trip to Norther East Brasil from monday might give me a few more :) .

Shoebill was number 6856. A bit surprising it was played so late - although obviously most of us, including me, have never seen one, I'd have expected it to be pretty memorable for the minority who have!

A shame it wasn't available, as the link from spectacles to a shoe was a good one, and rather more impressive than the original link (Okarito Kiwi completed a family when played, and so did Shoebill).

And speaking of completing families:
9107 Mottled Berryhunter
Another family completed. Yes, OK, it's a one-species family.

Unless Delia tells us otherwise, I'm going to assume her Intermediate Egret was A. intermedia intermedia, meaning Plumed Egret and Yellow-billed Egret are both now available if anyone's seen one, thanks to the IOC's taxonomic generosity. Good luck finding a connection from either of them to Variegated Antpitta, though...
