Just saying hi to this really cool forum. I actually wound up here looking into a pair of binoculars. I am as much into binoculars as I am birds. A long time lover of Bausch and Lomb, especially the 7 x 26 Audubon society, custom, which sometimes have the Bushnell label. My wife and I were in Stanfordville New York this summer, and they have an Audubon Society retreat. Was truly beautiful. We also went to the Innisfree Gardens, where we saw a pair of golden eagles with an Eaglet and many other great birds. A lot of mosquito bites also despite using DEET. My best burding Bono’s are an original B&O 8x42 Elite from the Rochester factory that I bought from a guy who worked at the factory and had received this in 1964. He was in his 80s and they essentially had never been taken out of the case. I rarely take them anywhere for fear that something might happen to them, but I do use them.
