It is very simple, my NL Pure’s are broken and there are more reports of the same defect on other NL Pure’s. I think with time, it is likely there will be more reports of this defect. For me the trust in this connection is all gone. Not exactly 10 is it? Maybe 3... I have no problem with individual's reports of a new problem. We need to know about these. But as evidence this FP hardware falling off body was that, I say no, not well known, not common? This was not it. Not yet anyway. Piling on? For what reason?
OK got it. Send them to Swarovski for repair. Bummer this happened to yours. It is very simple, my NL Pure’s are broken and there are more reports of the same defect on other NL Pure’s. Sorry to hear that. Hope mine don’t.It is very simple, my NL Pure’s are broken and there are more reports of the same defect on other NL Pure’s. I think with time, it is likely there will be more reports of this defect. For me the trust in this connection is all gone.
And your point is? That you now ignore any negative feedback because you are fatigued? While stored in their cases, the objective lenses on both pairs of my NLs shattered, the armor fell off and the strap connectors came loose.
(Pardon the unwarranted sarcasm above). But I'm suffering from feedback fatigue - see last sentence in the reference below.

Negative Feedback Graph
The amount of negative feedback someone is getting vs. how productive their engagement with negative feedback is. Datapoints go up a bit at first (as someone learns to engage with this kind of negative feedback/ dusts off the skill), then goes down and becomes negative (feedback fatigue).![]()
Maybe don’t post in these kinds of topic, when you know you can’t productively participate in it anymore. You made no usefull contribution to this topic. Your Posts were not helpfull and it looks to me you’re just trolling. While stored in their cases, the objective lenses on both pairs of my NLs shattered, the armor fell off and the strap connectors came loose.

Those are scratches. Something like that does not happen without a reason. Looks like you polished them with your carkey….Here is the photo of the lens , and no, it was not caused by any aggressive cleaning or some such , as I am carefull with all my optical equipment.
I am posting this picture , just in case anyone thinks that I am bullshitting.
The sticky rubber does not show up on photo's , so no picture of this.
Owlbarred made the best contribution here so far in my opinionMaybe don’t post in these kinds of topic, when you know you can’t productively participate in it anymore. You made no usefull contribution to this topic. Your Posts were not helpfull and it looks to me you’re just trolling.
Well , I know what I did not doThose are scratches. Something like that does not happen without a reason. Looks like you polished them with your carkey….
Not that careful afterall, I guess….
OMG! Is the connector glued on all of the models using Field Pro attachments. Now I am a little worried...... SWToday I handend my binos over to the store to be repaired. The store has seen this problem a few times before and said it is a known problem and will be fixed under warranty. Apparently the connector is glued to the body and sometimes the glue fails. Should get it back in 6-8 weeks.
Another interesting thing they said was regarding the armor issues. If you get your binos re-armored, for a few months now they use another compound that should hold better. Maybe this was already known. Just sharing what was told to me.

It was not "biodegradable"What was wrong with loops that were screwed to the body or part of the casting itself?
Yes it certainly seems like a foolish design as most adhesives will weaken or fail over time and then your binocular might end up hitting the ground or in the sea. What was wrong with loops that were screwed to the body or part of the casting itself?
Fair enough.... adhesives have moved on... but there were very few failures flagged up with traditional designed lugs.Adhesive bonds are frequently stronger than physical bonds - they're extensively used in the aerospace industry to hold critical components together. I'm not a big fan of the field pro system, but using glue is far from foolish. Traditional strap lugs have also been known to fail whether part of the casting or, particularly when screwed in both on cameras and binoculars - I've not been unlucky enough to suffer any failures, but they're not unknown.
