A local retailer here is selling off these 10x42 UV Blackline's for US$1,050 / £830.

Does this seem like good value?

Leica took back the distribution rights a few years ago in Singapore and this is the old distributors new, old stock.

If they are new old stock I'd say that's a very good price. Leica will be able to tell you year of manufacture from the serial number.

Personally, I'd snap them up.
