Hey kind knowledgeable peoples,

I just bought an RX10 III off of Craigslist. I have lots to research and study. Until I can accomplish that, can anyone tell me how to set the settings for basic photography in the field so that I can use the thing tomorrow?

I’m heck of excited and heck of unfamiliar with photography. Hope to get some photos for upcoming CBCs in the Bay Area.

Peaceful holidays, everyone. Thank you.

I have a good friend on FB who owns that camera and takes exceptional photographs with it, I'll see if she can help. Before I get back to you someone may have answered your question better than I. Peaceful holidays to you as well!

That’s brilliant, thank you!
I just recently heard from her; it seems she had trouble learning that camera even with a cheat sheet from a mentor of hers and mine. Now, I will attempt to get that information from him, I hope it happens prior to your CBC, or at all, as I asked this same thing of this man and heard no answer a year or so ago. Bear with me, that is a good tool to own.

I sent this knowledgeable man an email, I really hope he answers me, it is an awkward time to ask, the Christmas season, but he may come through. That camera is one I once thought of purchasing but bought the less expensive Panasonic FZ2500 instead.

Merry Christmas to you and all you know and love! My contacts have let me down, anyone I know with possible information has not replied or desired not to. I feel like a dirt ball; I had your hopes up. I hope someone here comes through, or your help closer to home. In any case I hope this day is a great one for you.
