Secret Bird II (6 Viewers)

Good Job tim.birdboy the answer is Black Scoter! Here is your next "secret bird"...

(1) Audubon wrote that the eggs of this bird "are from four to six, of a dull white, spotted with reddish-brown towards the larger end".

Really no clue on this, and too lazy to get a book with egg descriptions out, but I'll guess. Tricolored Heron?

Sorry guys but you are all wrong! I know that last clue was garbage but it was the best I could come up with at the time! You guys are too smart! :brains:

(2) Sexes of this "secret bird" show distinct segregation by habitat on the winter range, with males showing dominance over females.
