Stonefaction
Dundee Birding....(target 150 in 2024).
Stopped at that same place as in post 14 a few years ago during a non-birding (although birds were spotted) trip. I took some scenic shots of the beach and it was only the following week while looking through my then-girlfriend's photos on the computer did I see what I'd missed....
Remember this is the very north of Scotland.....ok, it was late May/early June....but still you don't expect to see anyone skinny-dipping or nude sunbathing way up there....!!!....and I hadn't.
I won't post the photo, but searching for photos tagged with Durness, on flickr should get you it (user name has a bird in it).
