The Eponym Dictionary of Birds (1 Viewer)

PS: And note that this long and exhaustive text (430 pages) doesn't seem to include any "Stefanus Adrianus ...", as Paul wrote the name of her Father, in post #90. Church Latin I assume.
"Stefanus Adrianus Buddingh" is the name of Cornelia's father as it appears in her birth record.
In her death record, he is given as "Stephan Adriaan Buddingh".
In van Zijderveld's text, he is "Steven Adriaan Buddingh jr. (1766-1824)".

In think in the instances of Buddingh’ in van Zijderveld's text, the ’ is actually a closing single quote, not an apostrophe.

To me (who doesn't) it seems to be lost somewhere between Stephaan Adriaan Buddingh' and the two guy's named "Steven Adriaan Buddingh" (Sr. and Jr.), all prior to "our lady" Cornelia Buddingh.

Just noticed now that, in 1878, Catharina Elisabeth Gesina Buddingh, wife of Gustaaf Schlegel, also signed her marriage record here C. E. G. Buddingh' (despite her name in the record itself was written without the apostrophe)...
