Additionally Andy reports a Dunlin dropping into the Flashes and the juvenile Stonechat still.

There is an interesting period of weather in a few days time that should hopefully produce positive conditions for movement - warm SE winds on Friday and Saturday followed by warm SSE winds with rain on Sunday and a direct southerly with rain on Monday - I would expect Black Tern as a minimum!

My prize is in the post 8-P For older viewers the fact I was brought up in K-E-Y-N-S-H-A-M may contribute to my unnerving accuracy (occasionally) of predictions ;)

just some pics from today.
1 can't you see the Little Egret.
2 Breakfast.
3 Breakfast?
4 auditioning for Christmas.

Confirmation received today the BHG blue 2BTH was ringed at Rutland Water as a nestling on the 20th June 2019; this was the first sighting of the bird. Wish all ringing schemes were as prompt at responding.

By the way this is the 24th different ringed BHG recorded at Upton this year.
