I did it!
When I came through this morning, something had been having a bath judging by the amount of water on the window. So I dried it off and waited... and waited.

Various birds came in to feed, but until after 10am there's not enough light for a photo. I was standing at the window when a Dunnock landed on the window sill right in front of me, how tiny and delicate they are. I didn't dare move!

Eventually the Coal Tit came for his bath and returned about 5 times in a quarter of an hour.

So here it is folks, a long awaited picture of it bathing. Just for those who didn't believe me!

Went to Kinnordy this afternoon and got a self-found Scottish rarity - Crane.

Congratulations - a wonderful coal tit capture - seems as though he really enjoys his bath.

Congratulations, Delia! On the Coal Tit picture and the Common Crane sighting! Both favourites of mine.

Very well done, Delia; lovely image of this CT bathing on the window-sill. (Well done with the Crane too)
