Why does Nikon make the best binoculars in the world? (2 Viewers)

I wouldn't want to be dependent on only one pair. What if lost or stolen? What if they need repair? Now I'm wondering if 10 pair is enough.

Why does Nikon make the best binoculars in the world?

So Nikon can save us from the trouble of going into endless debate over who makes the best binoculars in the world?

Apparently, they still have some more work cut out for them to convert those non-believers

Answer to Dennis's question in post #1: Because the next binocular Dennis will sell is a Nikon.

- Kimmo
Yeah I was thinking that myself. Whether a given pair of binoculars is The Best Pair In The World depends on ones viewing needs and pocketbook. It's an unanswerable question designed more as flame bait from a troll than anything else.

"The Best Pair In The World depends on ones viewing needs and pocketbook"

It has nothing to do with either. Best is the best regardless of price and we are talking about birding binoculars. A Nikon 8x32SE is the best porro birding binocular. I don't care what you pay for it. For birding it is the best porro. Just because you can't afford the best doesn't make them not the best. Usually the best of anything does cost more. That was a stupid statement Roadkill. Think before you open your mouth!

Dennis is most likley correct and the EDG is the best binocular out there at the moment but when you add that extra ingredient we all have, individualism then it can never be judged as such and people will always resist indoctrination.

Maybe it's time to pour oil (in the form of off topic blah blah) on the troubled waters.

How was it with those vikings again...

You are asking individuals from all manner of backgrounds what the best pair of binoculars is. What is best for one won't be best for the other. There is no objective measure of best. As I said the question as phrased is trolling with flame bait.

Pity but they always came up a bit short and because of that some countrys then became back waters!

You are right though, this thread is long past its sell by date.

Your welcome.

I normally wouldn't post a non related link on here, but I figured this group of people might really enjoy it.

Wrong. It wasn't fizzling until you dead-ended it with your old airplane pictures. That stuff is boring. Eeegad! Dry. Gimme some water! Are you a pilot? You kinda of look like Tom Cruise in "Top Gun" with those glasses on.

Individualism has nothing to do with what is the best. The best is the best. If you as an individual don't think the EDG isn't the best then you are just not knowledgeable about what is good and what isn't.
