It's probably nearer from the A38 but parking is a problem at either end, it's a pity the reserve carpark isn't open. I believe some park at Webbs.
Thank you for your reply Geoff! We viewed the Flashes from the public footpath yesterday and it was a bit of trek from the A38 side so I was just wondering if it would be closer (and with less stiles) from the other side of the footpath. We had distant views of Green Sandpiper, Common Sandpiper, Ringed Plover, Common Snipe, Avocet, Lapwing, Curlew, Grey Heron, Gadwall, Shoveler and BH Gulls. A Peregrine was on one of the transmitters.
