Leica Ultravid 8x32 HD Plus review (1 Viewer)

Some folks that were troubled by Rolling Ball in Swaro ELs have reported they dont see it through SFs. So there is some empirical evidence that the Zeiss flat field has fewer consequences for those susceptible to RB.

But the only thing that is important is what you see with your own eyes.

If you can't find a store that will allow you to try them all out at least look for one that has a suitable returns policy.

Good luck with your choice.

Lee,

Some folks who are not troubled by Rolling Ball in Swaro EL SV's report that they are troubled by the RB they see in Zeiss SFs. So there is some empirical evidence that the Zeiss flat field has more consequences for those susceptible to RB. Let's remain fair and balanced, shall we?

Hi Kimmo

Chosun Juan made that point and I didn't argue with it, but in the interest of being fair and balanced I also presented the point some folks that have been bothered by RB in EL SVs aren't with SFs, so on balance the jury is out as to what the empirical evidence means. Hence my emphasis that one should trust one's own eyes and not somebody elses.

I think that is pretty fair and balanced.

Wishing to appear fair and balanced, I see RB in both. :t:
