Greetings all...

Thought I'd post some pictures of the Leica's I currently own. That's all of them except for a 8X42 Noctivid I failed to locate this am. I went birding too and didn't want to spend too much time looking for it.

First couple of pictures is anything Trinovid. Next couple is anything Ultravid/Noctivid. Next couple is the complete lot.

As far as usage goes...a few rarely get used although they all could be ones primary/only birding binocular. I use mostly the 7X42 UVHD+ and Retrovid 7X35 by a good amount. Next would be the 8X42 Silverline(I just like it) and then the Noctivids.

Feel free to add to this post with pictures of your own!

Beautiful! Leica makes great stuff. I love "pimp your collection" photos! Always liked "show & tell" in elementary school too. Good luck finding the Noctivids :)

I'm currently at 8 pairs of binoculars, with 2 of them in the classifieds, I was thinking of doing a group photo when I get down to 6 but maybe I should do it now :):)

I would always have choice stress when I go out birdwatching 😄. I know you have a couple of swaros and zeiss as wel... and probably others.
You're a source of experience and I value your comments.
I see you have a preference for 7 or 8 power.

Thanks! It sometimes is hard to pick just one. I usually put two in the Jeep and go or sometimes I get hung up on one or two...
7X is so user-friendly. Every magnification has its place. So far I've never had an instance where I couldn't ID a bird with 7-8X and could with 10X.

Thanks! A couple of BF members asked me to make some pictures and I said I would. I'll eventually do the same with Zeiss, Swarovski, and Nikon. May do another for "others."

Beautiful collection. Always wanted one of those silver lines. Which Leica started it all for you?

Thanks! I was always a Swarovski Guy. Buy it and forget it. The first Leica I bough was the Leica Trinovid 10x42 in probably around 2013. Then I bought the 8X42 of the same model. Excellent binoculars both. Very similar to the Ultravid. Then when Leica came out with the UVHD+ around 2014/2015...I had to have the 8X....then the 7X42.

What a wonderful collection! I dare to as a question which may sound like someone asking a father which is the child he loves the most but so be it: If you had to choose one glass from this set for your personal, everyday use, which one would you pick? Thanks in advance, I'm looking forward to the answer!
