Owen's Wildlife 2025 (1 Viewer)

Enjoyable day out with clarkgriswold. Met him at slimbridge where the Bluethroat showed very quickly. There’s a lot that’s a bit sad about it returning to the same reed bed year after year and singing its heart out but it was still a lovely bird to watch. A couple of very close hares as well.

Nice looking around the other parts of the site Rich got a few year ticks and I got a British wood sandpiper. Very very close muntjac and distant Roe as well.

Walking down the hedged off edge of Frampton sailing club lake occasionally getting a glimpse of the water didn’t deliver big numbers of birds. Very very quiet but three hobbys up high and one common tern resting on a jetty. Thousands of teneral damsels drying out on the bushes.

306 bluethroat
307 hobby
20 brown hare
