Drake Goldeneye (73) on the Moors Pool as per Andy P - a welcome sighting after blank years on 2017 and 2018.

A bit of wader action at the Moors Pool with a Dunlin briefly (74) and a Golden Plover over - both headed towards the Flashes as per Andy P.

Barn Owl at the Flashes this morning from 0745 as per Bob Oakley
First visit of the year and the Barn Owl came out to play on the Flashes for the best part of 50min. Hunting successfully all over the reserve and beyond plus coming right past the hide several times. Lovely!
Finished the morning on 52 which wasn't bad considering the Flashes were frozen over.:t::t:
