Black and white flyers
There were loads of birds sitting on the bog bean and suddenly they all lifted. I couldn't see what set them off, but took a general picture in the hopes I might see something on download. But no.

Not the greatest of pictures in the poor light that day, but I rather liked the action and the blurred b/g which gave a sense of the speed as I tried to follow them.

I often wonder about this behavior. All at once a group of birds will lift off simultaneously. It's like a sign has been given by one of them.

A great example of this D.

Lots of action going on here...Well done Delia. "Tomium"..."Topography" Some nice words there lass.

I have seen this many times, and they seem to just fly around and come back where they started from. Good work Delia Tfs
