Branching out (Erithacus rubecula)

A wee Robin sitting at the top of a Beech. I guess this should have been part of the hedge at one time, but it's slightly separated from it now. A lot of birds seem to like sitting there.

Many birds like a prominent perch Hopefully more birds will come to this one. A fine Robin capture, Delia.

(Mistle Thrushes used to perch atop a high evergreen tree here. It happened dozens of times over a 5 year period, but not once in the last 3 years. Who knows why?)
