Disappearing (haematopus ostralegus)

I used to see around 20-30 Eurasian Oystercatchers lining the causeway beside the lochan on my patch. This was the best it got this year, and I don't recall seeing any youngsters.

But there could have been in areas no longer accesable for me.

A gorgeous picture of these oystercatchers taken in a magnificent setting D. It is a sad scenario that seems to be playing out every where these days. TFS!
