Stand-off between very distant cousins
We had to wait a few days before going back to the feeding station, in the hope that the snow had thawed a bit. Which it had..... but as you can see there was still some lying about.

The feeders were just about empty, so a good job we went. A Robin and Dunnock were soon there to hoover up what I put on the ground around the bushes. They seem to be sizing each other up, don't they.

You are doing a Stirling job keeping those feeders topped up D - good on you girl! Great shot of a bit of habitat too - that ground still looks very frozen!
 
A brilliant pair to capture, Delia. I've been to one of our local feeding stations this morning, lots of birds and the feeders are well stocked. Keep up the good work.
