Unexpected
Further along the beach we came across a group of Great Crested Terns, my first sighting of these large terns.

I quite over-looked the fact that there was a Gull-billed tern in amongst them until I downloaded the pictures!!

I really didn't think terns could be so big LOL

A lovely image, Delia, and great to get 2 tern species in the same frame, even if you didn't realise it at the time!
