Old World warblers, Parrotbills.
Sylviidae is a family in the order Passeriformes.
The Sylviidae here have not much in common with the traditional Sylviidae. The Opus follows Clements regarding families and has therefore adopted the new treatment. Many species formerly included in the Sylviidae have now been moved to the families Phylloscopidae, Acrocephalidae, Cettiidae, Locustellidae, Paradoxornithidae, the newly created Macrosphenidae or other families.
There is even some discussion to merge this family completely with the Timaliidae and to surpress the name Sylviidae.
