I'm currently sat in my camper at Lizard point watching the sea. I have been since yesterday and have no real compunction to stop anytime soon!
Today's Binoculars are my compact Hawke Frontier PC 8x25's as my 8x43 birding bins are in my other car!|^|
This has resulted in my wife asking why I don't buy another pair!
Now, my 8x43's are Hawke too, I can't remember the exact model off the top of my head, but they're in the £300 price range.
I am now approaching the point of my post! Should I get a higher mag? With birding I am watching things at a distance measured in yards, with sea watching its all much further away! Would a 10x or 12x give me a better view or would the extra shake negate any benefit? What say you?
