SoCal Big Day effort on 4/23 - yielding 142 species for a 24-hr period across 5 counties, starting in LA and ending at the Salton Sea, 175 on the weekend in total. We're lightyears from the current record holders of 237 - but I think with some more careful planning, scouting, and hitting the right migration weekend, we could edge closer to the next tier between 150-200 in a day:
