I wonder whether you might add an explanation of the technical/scientific terms you use here - for the OP's information
There is hardly any technical term to explain, just a small typo: Henry meant to say that the internals (rather than "intervals") should be clean.

However, I suspect that the OP had to Google collimation before carrying on with their reading/research
