The darker side of listing (1 Viewer)

I have no idea what you are talking about.

Your previous post seemed a bit narked: "for the umpteenth time".
I've enjoyed BF for a few years now but have never come across either your shooting discussion ban (with which I agree), nor have I come across the guy whose posts you deleted.
I therefore felt that I'd been shouted at by the teacher who'd not yet told me what the rules were. You don't advertise these anywhere, do you?

Peter

All I can say is I can only hope that these pathetic wind up attempts and deliberate attempts to try and bring up the dreaded 's' word that I usually get blamed for doing no doubt in an attempt to get me banned by complaining to the mods as soon as I fall for it and reply are met with the same blunt warnings from the Mods that my comments are!

And just for the record going back to the actual topic of tresspassing well I'm not claiming to be an angel by any stretch of the imagination, though it would worryingly seem I'm a lot closer to it than many, like i said before its not so much people doing these relatively minor things now and again kind of knowing its wrong but maybe worth the risk that I object too, what i find rather hard to grasp though is people coming on here bragging about doing it and encouraging others to do it as though we have the god given right to do what we like reguardless of wether the law says otherwise.

Not sure if you fancy a career change but writing for the Daily Mail would appear to be a good option. ;)

Thanks for the appropriate moderation here Steve, I don't envy you! There are some sad attitudes on this thread aren't there.
Wishing I hadn't joined this thread now, I'm off to do some habitat management for a red-listed species on private property, hope nobody has been trespassing and disturbing a critically endangered species for treasure hunting purposes. It's voluntary, and more fun and rewarding than listing.
If you want to see them, contact me privately to arrange a viewing, but they have already been disturbed sufficiently to be very very rare. No I'm not telling.

Someone should address MJB's very intelligent questions, if you don't like the law, do something about it in the appropriate forum.

Steve,
Forgive me if I've got things entirely wrong, but based on your previous posts, the above sounds rather as if you've realised your point of view is less tenable than you thought, and so you've applied a diversionary tactic in the shape of disparagement? I must admit I all too often have done the same thing...:h?:

PS I remember when the Daily Mail employed journalists who checked their facts before compiling a story. See Ben Goldacre's website, Bad Science for archived examples of the Daily Mail's take on such things as MMR, dieticians and the like

Watching a load of noisy blokes chivvy a knackered and freshly ringed Raddes Warbler seawards at Spurn 20 or so years ago was dark enough to put me off collective birding jamborees for a good while. Until that point I thought all birders actually liked birds.

Never seen the point in flushing myself as it usually ends in a fleeting glimpse of a feathery a*se as it shoots over the horizon. (Apologies for use of the naughty S word)
