Your Most Recent "Life" Bird (10 Viewers)

Golden Pheasant (Woferton - after many years of trying) and Lesser Yellowlegs (Thornham) today (Saturday).

Male pheasant was totally stunning, unbelievable! (female present too - briefly).

Sunday 1/28-Stratford, Old Lyme, and Old Saybrook Connecticut:GADWALL, CANVASBACK,GREATER SCAUP,LESSER SCAUP,SURF SCOTER, WHITE-WINGED SCOTER,BLACK SCOTER,LONG-TAILED DUCK,HORNED GREBE,PUPLE SANDPIPER, and DUNLIN.- I had a great deal of help. Someone led me to all of the spots and put me on to most of the birds. At least I had great looks at all of them and took the time to check out field marks carefully.-

EARED GREBE, GREAT CORMORANT, BLACK GUILLEMOT, and KING EIDER. Various points along the coast of Gloucester, MA.
