Those nails certainly compete with the barbed wire. The rusty barbed wire strand adds to the picture. Fabulous bird, pose, perch, lighting, focus, colors, and detail. Love it D! TFS!
 
Great pose on this beautiful portrait of a Meadow Pipit, Delia! Haven't seen any yet this year. I think the rusty wire makes an interesting perch.
