Bank Holiday Weekend: Plans and predictions (3 Viewers)

My prediction... well, male Subalpine Warbler would be nice... Scops Owl or Little Swift would be nicer still...

First one's duly turned up - singing at Beachy Head this morning... hopefully will be relocated.

Now what about the next two, and that Kite...

Back yard birding for me!

I’ve just ripped a calf muscle (didn’t do warming-up or stretching exercises first!) chasing off a cat that was after the nesting Blackbirds at the bottom of my garden. :storm:

Not too fond of domestic cats right now. :C

Had to put Harthope off for a couple of days.....had a VERY bad night's sleep and today I feel like a zombie :C so I'm just pottering around the house and taking it easy so I'm ok for the Meet-up tomorrow!
Probably LOADS of fabulous birds displaying well as I speak in the Valley Grrrr!!!! :C

Thanks.

As long as I can get out and about by next weekend then it will have been all worthwhile.

I just hope the cat ain’t that brave and my first attempt on it’s life persuades it to keep on runnin’

It seems it might have be worth all this suffering after all. Although I am walking again but with a very bad limp, have extensive bruising from my ankle to my knee, I am unable to get out and bird watch as I hoped I would be able to do, I have now found I have another pair of blackbirds nesting elsewhere in my garden as well!
